It has been a nightmare. They were told no one would be at the pick up in Palm Desert as we had to leave due to Covid-19. We arranged for them to have a written list of what the movers were to take and a person to be there to let them in.
They arrived without the list and then when a stranger came in pretending to be incharge, (They were given the name of the Only person to be there.) Started to tell them what stayed etc. They became upset. Only after the person left did my person who let them in contacted me, o tell me what when on. I asked to speak to the mover incharge. His name was [name removed by Sirelo]. I went through everything that happened and then had him go through each room as I instructed him on what to take and what not to take.
When the goods arrived the Bill was $2,800 US more than originally quoted on and many of the items were missing from both the list given and from our telephone conversation. Instead we received a lot of garbage that was to be thrown out and Half a Vacuum cleaner and other items that were going to the Salvation Army. But they insist that we still have to pay for the entire shipment. They also refuse to re-emburse us for those items left behind.Read more

An absolute **** show of a company. Save yourself the time and money and look elsewhere for movers.

I moved from Vancouver to Quebec. Initial time estimate was 2-3 weeks. Two weeks passed by without a word from them, I called and they informed me I would receive a call within a few days to get the new delivery estimate. After an entire week, I called again and was given the same exact response. I proceeded to call again everyday for 4 days only to be told that the van was in Toronto (for over a week?).

The calls were all over the place. Nobody was taking responsibility, nobody was giving me any concrete details about my items. Dispatch was extremely rude and provided no help whatsoever. Half the time I was thinking my items were actually stolen.

Eventually I stopped calling and informed them that I would need a 48 hour notice to comply with the building's code. Meanwhile I had to book a room and pay extra $500 for the 2 extra weeks they took. After yet another week I called (I initiated the call) and was told the van would be there in less than 48 hours. The day of, the delivery was delayed yet 2 more days.

Upon delivery I was not given instructions, but was almost penalized for not reserving a delivery spot right in front of the building. They claimed that a 10 second walk was 'long delivery' and demanded extra payment. They double parked and I had to help them move the items so that they wouldn't get fined.

After unboxing my items, I discovered that my 65' TV's screen was broken. For the record, the TV cost me $1500 without tax, will cost $900 to fix, and was one of the main reasons I opted to move my items. I should mention that I gave specific instructions on multiple occasions that this item was very important. After submitting the claim, I was told that they can only pay out $250.

So ultimately this move cost me double what it should have.

movers showed up on time as we agreed upon. They asked me right questions to figure out the needs for the move. Price was reasonable and customer service was more than expected from a mover. Recommend them others.

The staff was not in house. As a matter of fact, the team that was used in Los Angeles was the same one that we had with a different moving company when we originally moved FROM California two years ago. They charged us a separate fee of $1000 because they informed us that their truck was their own and they do NOT work for Trans Canada. If we did not pay them, they refused to deliver our belongings to our house even though our quote was for door to door service. Total price that we paid for a three bedroom house was $13680 US. The movers arrived three days prior to our lease move in date and 11 days prior to the ETA. When I called to ask Trans Canada for an update on when our belongings would arrive, I was told that I should call after July 15th because it was pithing the ETA. They did not know where the truck was and if it was still in Montreal, I was told they would just leave my things there. A different company called me a day later to give me 24 hours notice that the driver arrived in Los Angeles. We had to ask the landlord for early access and the floors in the back bedrooms were still being carpeted so all of our boxes and furniture was dumped in the living room. We had to reassemble ALL of our own furniture, including our dining table, couch, coffee table and two beds. Pieces were missing from a mid century modern cabinet that they disassembled. The headboard of my son's bed was severely water stained and several valuable items were broken in transit including Baccarat crystal that was packed in several layers of bubble wrap and blankets. This could have been because they placed boxes on their sides (instead of upright) and packed heavy items on top in order to pack everything in to the very top of the trailer. We were missing a power washer that their team originally packed in Montreal. Yet no one has contacted me to resolve this matter and it has been nearly a week.Read more

Original quote was competitive amongst other companies.

Team in Los Angeles was in a rush to leave, completed an eight hour job in a few hours and tried to leave ether own personal packing materials for me to dispose of for them.
con
Team in Los Angeles charged an additional $1000 to bring my belongings to my house. Little care was taken once delivered, no reassembly was completed.
