The staff was not in house. As a matter of fact, the team that was used in Los Angeles was the same one that we had with a different moving company when we originally moved FROM California two years ago. They charged us a separate fee of $1000 because they informed us that their truck was their own and they do NOT work for Trans Canada. If we did not pay them, they refused to deliver our belongings to our house even though our quote was for door to door service. Total price that we paid for a three bedroom house was $13680 US. The movers arrived three days prior to our lease move in date and 11 days prior to the ETA. When I called to ask Trans Canada for an update on when our belongings would arrive, I was told that I should call after July 15th because it was pithing the ETA. They did not know where the truck was and if it was still in Montreal, I was told they would just leave my things there.
