This company was subcontracted by Diamond Relocation, which I hired to move from BC to Quebec: the team they sent was fantastic. Alan and his team gave me super friendly service, called well in advance of their arrival time to give me a heads up, and the three of them unloaded my place SUPER fast. Highly recommend

They literally take your money to simply book an appointment for you.
So if you want to hold your spot (which they will make you believe is important as they are so busy) you do not get your money back.
Even if you don't sign anything.
We signed nothing but never received our deposit back.
So essentially you're paying for the manager to book your appointment and if you change your mind HE keeps that money, for what? Absolutely nothing because once that spot gets filled they still have your money.
Who runs a business like that? How is that ethical business practice? It's not.
That's why they have such a low review on the BBB. Which is literally why we decided to change companies due to complaints of other customers and honestly the high pressure sales was a bit off putting.

We ended up looking up the companies website in more depth, we decided to go with a different company that was A) more reputable and B) more professional.
The manager refused to return the deposit, hung up on me twice when I questioned the policy, manager states they get a lot of business yet if you cancel you do not receive your deposit back therefore they take your money for absolutely no reason as it's not an issue of cancelling within 24 hours.
The manager threatened to call the police on me while I tried calmly speaking to him with my 3 children present.
Why did he threaten to call the police? Because he wouldn't pick up the phone or forward my calls to someone above (probably because he is the CEO), so I thought I would talk to him in person...at his public business location. Which isn't illegal..

This company is completely unprofessional.
The manager cannot manage his emotions, he sounds incredibly insecure, unstable and they have no problem tricking you into a deposit that you do not get back should you change your mind within less than 72 hours. Absolute coward and refuses to behave like a professional adult.
Don't use them unless you like to pay people to do literally nothing other than book an appointment for you and you believe it's worth almost $300. Then sure, use them.

The manager pressured my wife to make a decision that I never authorized even though I’m the green card holder and the name the reservation was made under. Any reasonable company would refund a deposit since we cancel the date we booked for. If there as good as they claimed they are they should have no problem filling that day with moves.
Instead, the manager was rude, condescending, unreasonable and never actually spoke to ME the person this registration is made for. My wife was with our 3 kids and had no way of reviewing all the policy’s yet was pressured to make a deposit to which we now found out is non refundable. The manager disgusts me and the fact they manage their business like this is a reflection to what service we’d get. The reason I wanted my wife to obtain the deposit back because this company has horrible reviews on the BBB and isn’t even in the database of registered movers. Their reviews and high pressure sales. People change their minds and I never agreed to this, I can’t compute how a business would refuse $277.01 deposit when it was never even used. My wife and I wanted to visit the business, to discuss in person since he hung up on my wife twice but then he threatened to call the police for us visiting a public business. My wife is small, we have 3 kids under the age of 3 and she’s a registered social worker. I cannot express enough to NOT go through with this company. Run!Lire la suite

I was contacted by an employee for my move and they gave me a great price for my move from Victoria BC to Delta BC.
The employee who assisted me was courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my specific needs and requirements. They provided a detailed quote that was transparent and competitive, giving me confidence in their services from the outset. I had contacted many other companies trying to move me but there prices were not as good as Homeland. Two days prior to my moving day I got a call from dispatch letting me know what time the movers would arrive. On arrival day the dispatch contacted me an hour before they arrived. It took about 2 hours for my pickup, I had them wrap my antique items in protective wrapping. They also provided also free blanket wrapping for all of my other items. They moved all my furniture into the truck and an agent contacted me 1 day later letting me know when my items would arrive in Delta.

I really appreciate this company for being very professional with me and also understanding I had a certain time frame to leave my current home to my new one.
Will be working with this company again in the future if I ever move again, thanks for the great deals and discounts.

Absolutely find any other moving company. Terrible communication, disrespectful employees, way too expensive and on top of that good luck getting anyone on the phone, ever, after they have your money and all your belongings. Several boxes arrived destroyed, many broken items and at least ten boxes of dishes, clothing, family heirlooms and books were never delivered to our destination. Now begins the runaround trying to get someone on the phone and get answers. In the end, all I want is to have our belongings found and delivered to us. Is that too much to expect after paying $21,000 CAD????????
