I was contacted by an employee for my move and they gave me a great price for my move from Victoria BC to Delta BC.
The employee who assisted me was courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my specific needs and requirements. They provided a detailed quote that was transparent and competitive, giving me confidence in their services from the outset. I had contacted many other companies trying to move me but there prices were not as good as Homeland. Two days prior to my moving day I got a call from dispatch letting me know what time the movers would arrive. On arrival day the dispatch contacted me an hour before they arrived. It took about 2 hours for my pickup, I had them wrap my antique items in protective wrapping. They also provided also free blanket wrapping for all of my other items. They moved all my furniture into the truck and an agent contacted me 1 day later letting me know when my items would arrive in Delta.

I really appreciate this company for being very professional with me and also understanding I had a certain time frame to leave my current home to my new one.

Absolutely find any other moving company. Terrible communication, disrespectful employees, way too expensive and on top of that good luck getting anyone on the phone, ever, after they have your money and all your belongings. Several boxes arrived destroyed, many broken items and at least ten boxes of dishes, clothing, family heirlooms and books were never delivered to our destination. Now begins the runaround trying to get someone on the phone and get answers. In the end, all I want is to have our belongings found and delivered to us. Is that too much to expect after paying $21,000 CAD????????

Worst company t do business with ever.
They charged my 12000 CAD for moving my belongings from Vancouver to San Jose.
Only two people came to pack everything I had in a 2 bedroom apartment. The damaged my condo, my furniture and God everything.
Stay away from them.
Yo want to know what happened to my brand new furniture look at the images. They never take the responsibility either. This company is a real scam.

We needed professional help even though we only had an intown move. Throughout the entire process, from consultation to packing to moving and unpacking, everything met our expectations.

We've moved a few times before and knew what to expect. We had the best crews help us this time. We knew that nothing would go perfectly during the move, but the team was courteous, professional, and respectful of us and our belongings.

I would recommend them to others and consider using them again in the future.

We used Homeland Moving and Logistics to move from Langley BC to London On. Our experience was great. I had read the reviews and was a bit weary, but after checking the BBB website, I thought I'd just try it and hope for the best. The movers that picked our things up were amazing. So fast. It took about 3 weeks for our belongings to arrive in London. We were told 2-4 weeks so that was great. The movers that delivered our stuff were great as well. They basically told me to just point to where I wanted my things and they took care of it all. One piece was missing out of everything, which I counted as a win. I contacted the company about my missing item, they sent me a claim form, but unfortunately I waited too long to submit the claim. I know everyone has different experiences, but I have to believe that some people are expecting the world at minimum cost. I had looked into different companies and this cost wasn't the most expensive or the cheapest. For what we paid, I am very happy with the outcome. You can't expect to pay super cheap prices and be handed the world.

That being said I feel like my movers did everything they could to make this a positive experience. I had offered both sets of movers water while they were working away and they seemed shocked that I would offer it to them. To me that says a lot about some people. Courtesy is kind. The movers chain smoked cigarettes on my property, broke countless items, and lied about the weight and charges. I had to pay extra to have it weighed again in front of me in a neighbouring city. I was belittled and guilted into tipping (don’t worry, I didn’t give in to their petty tactics). They didn’t make me feel comfortable as a woman, I had to get my father in law to fly across the country to talk to the CEO of the company so they would stop holding our items hostage. Our belongings showed up three weeks late after being lost, without so much as an apology.

They lost the entire contents of my house for two of the four weeks, and used three separate companies without my consent or knowledge. If I had known they would use third party companies, I would never have chosen Homeland. They scammed me, and left me in the dark. I was told 9 days for shipping, and had nothing for over a month.

I hope all employees feel deep shame for losing my stuff, lying to their customers, and making me feel uncomfortable in my own home.Lire la suite
