Recommendation

Another great moving experience with this company on our recent move from Vancouver! The moving team in BC ( [name removed by Sirelo] and his crew ) all were dressed in company uniform and handled themselves in a very professional manner. On the delivery end, [name removed by Sirelo] and his men also had a great attitude and came prepared with all the tools and equipment they needed to reassemble our beds etc. Overall smooth relocation experience.

Moved from Calgary, alberta (Canada) to Toronto ,ontario (Canada).

Recommendation

Moved from Saskatoon to Kichener. 3 men came on day 1 to take apart furniture and load. The following week they delivered, unloaded and rebuilt the furniture. They were amazing. Extremely hard working, polite, friendly and careful with our items. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful with the unpack. Can’t recommend them enough. I only hope that if we move back to in future they’ll be willing to come back to Kitchener to get us!

Pros and cons
They were amazing

Recommendation

Your company completed my relocation from Edmonton to Vancouver last week.
I would just like to thank all the movers involved in making this move so hassle free.
First of all, [name removed by Sirelo] who took my booking was most helpful in sorting out my storage and delivery requirements. Then the guys that did the pickup from Edmonton were prompt and efficient. The 3 guys that delivered to my apartment had, what I would think was a difficult move-in, but they handled it with great care, and were happy and cheery the whole time. I would also like to mention that I had not one breakage in all of this. My appreciation to all, I will definitely recommend your services to anyone.

Pros and cons
clearly
on time

Recommendation

This moving felt just right! It felt like I got exactly what I paid for! It really feels good when it turns out exactly how you wanted it to be. In my case, Centennial moving moved me and I received the service I wanted! They moved me in an efficient time within my elevator time frame and they did not ruin a single thing! Their price was low and it did not change in the end. The best part was the guys; they were efficient and very professional. I had a real good experience with this moving company. I will use them again and I will certainly recommend them to all.

Pros and cons
Low price

Recommendation

My entire family moved from AB to ON. My parents used Centennial. My wife and I used a different mover. There was no comparison. Centennial was awesome! The movers were always on time, friendly, and they worked their butts off! We nightly recommend Centennial moving! They made our move so much better!

Pros and cons
Polite
Fast

Recommendation

When we started planning for our move to Quebec we just felt it was going to be a huge challenge. With all the mistakes I've faced in the past with local movers it's hard not to imagine even more problems with an out of province move. I asked as many questions as I could when planning out the move. I felt most confident with Centennial Movers based on their rates, customer feedback and their communication over the phone and email. They were the 3rd company I reached out to but the first company that contacted me back. I didn't know my move was going to go as well as it did but I'm not complaining! Great work.!!!

Recommendation

Highly recommend! We used Centennial Moving Company to move from our 1 bedroom in Vancouver to our new place in Kitchener. We have a lot of furniture and approx 50 boxes. The (three) movers showed up on time and were very efficient - they did the entire load in just under 3 hours. Our wardrobe wouldn't fit down the stairs in our new condo (the lower level is difficult access ), so the movers carried the boxspring around the outside of the building, to fit the wardrobe through our bedroom french doors on the lower level - they went above and beyond. They also wrapped all of the furniture and nothing was damaged. Great experience!

Moved from Vancouver (Canada) to Kitchener (Canada).

Recommendation

Everything went great with our move. The driver and the crew on both sides worked well. They moved us from Regina to Toronto. Picked us up on a Saturday morning at 8am and the driver was promptly at our house 10 days later at 8am ready to deliver. Everything was unloaded carefully and put in our house where we wanted it. Would definitely use Centennial again.

Pros and cons
Careful
Great service

Recommendation

The best moving experience we have ever had. Our clinic had to move from one city to another. The staff were professional, kind, honest, and hard working. The entire office was loaded up in orderly fashion. From the first moment of contact till the end of the move I felt heard and taken care of.
- There was no damage to any of the furniture.
- There were no missing boxes.
- There was no hassle whatsoever.
I can't recommend them enough.
Thank you to Centennial and all staff involved who conducted a thorough job.

Pros and cons
No damage whatsoever
No missing boxes

Recommendation

We moved our brand new wooden furniture and were so worried about sratches or maybe missing pieces. Our cherry dining table and chairs from red oak everything new and so expensive. Glass top dining table we bought 6 months ago. It could be a nightmare for us if the relocation company failed to deliver us such a long distance in one piece. But Centennial moving, they totally came through. They did not break or lose anything. And at the end of the day they were so tired but smiled and cracked jokes! Thank you guys it was a masterpiece of a move!

Pros and cons
Effective
High professionality
Moved from Lethbridge (Canada) to Oakville (Canada).

Recommendation

I originally went online looking for a long distance moving company, I filled some form out and I instantly received about 10 movers calling me for my business. When a guy from Centennial moving explained to me the whole process, I knew I had found the company I was going with. He was so clear on how every step was going to work. The day the movers showed up was exactly how he said it was going to be. My new furniture was delivered in 10 days to my new home. I was very impressed with the movers. They did such a great job.

Recommendation

You have to be professional to pack such things as electronic devices. These guys provided the right boxes with the best protection .They have used the soft furniture blankets to cover our TV, monitor, desktop computer. Our arrival was on time and so was our delivery we are very thankful for that!!!

Pros and cons
Security
Positive attitude

Very unpleasant long-distance move from Toronto to Vancouver this summer. 0 stars. Please read before choosing this company.

Pick-up was smooth but delivery was a disaster!
- gave little delivery notice (on a long weekend) and the alternative to charge extra for storage and redelivery fees
- first delivery: 15 of 25 items missing, mover [name removed by Sirelo] did not offer any explanation and wanted me to sign the receipt
- after multiple phone conversations and emails, located 14 items in their warehouse and 1 item delivered to another customer on the same date, scheduled for redelivery on a Sunday
- company replied that Costa was the only staff handling jobs in Vancouver; logically, he was likely responsible for delivery errors
- second delivery: unexpected knock on my door one day ahead (saturday) without confirmation by [name removed by Sirelo] again; company's response was Costa explained to Dispatch who was 'too busy' on a weekend to confirm with the customer so they ca.. Read more

Recommendation

Thank you to our wonderful movers, who worked super hard over the last month to get us moved across Canada! They quoted me 9-10am for pick-up and they texted around 9:25am to let me know they were on their way and arrived around 9:55. They brought a giant truck that fitted our entire 1100 sq. ft condo plus filled storage unit! They were very efficient and professional, wrapping breakable things carefully in paper and covering our furniture items with blankets, then shrink wrapping them. It took a long time but it's because we had a lot of stuff and they had to go through the elevator every time they moved pieces. I loved that they also took down our furniture for us and put it back together when we were at the new place. Tough job you guys have there - thanks for moving us!

Pros and cons
Reliable
Professional

Recommendation

Loved working with this team through our difficult move! They were great with communication- even when running late I was kept up to date. They arrived and prepared my large furniture with great attention to detail and care. They were also able to facilitate moving from two separate locations and across the country with no hassle. I would not only recommend the efficiency factor but also fairness, we were happy with the cost and rates and would use again, no hesitation!

Pros and cons
Professionalism

Recommendation

Professional service. Great Long distance relocation. Movers were fit and strong. From the first call a few days before my relocation I felt safe. The industry knowledge they possessed put me at ease. They asked me questions I have never given a thought to but proved instrumental in facilitating the move on the day. The day before the move Miracle Movers called me to verify my details; I believe they called this the confirmation check. this put me at ease even further. when they arrived on the day of the move, two with a smile on their face were there to professionally move my cumbersome items. They did it with finesse. well done guys, well done. I will definitely recommend it though I do not intend to be moving anytime soon.

Hello my dears!!I am so glad that I chose you. Last month I had decided to move to my kids! And I really could not imagine how I can deal with it, with all these items!. And you helped me a lot. You started with the largest and heaviest items first .Carefully wrapped my fragile stuff. Everything was loaded and unloaded so careful and fast. And If knew I could find such people like u I would moved a year ago!!! Really and truly I was going to sell most of my furniture but my next door neighbour recommend me your relocation company. I m blessed!

Recommendation

We booked a move of a packed two bedroom house to a bigger place just a suburb away. The guys rang to say they would be 15 minutes late due to horrendous traffic. Once they arrived they worked quickly and carefully. We couldn’t fit all of our things on the truck so they worked with us to choose the most important things and they used every last bit of space on their truck. They were diligent and professional and when the time comes we will definitely request them again. They were 10/10!

Pros and cons
Hardworking
Efficiency

Recommendation

In this, the 21st century, a company with integrity, and straight up. No hidden costs, either!
[Name removed by Sirelo] worked with me...not only fair, in all respects, but willing to accommodate those extras that occur, in such a move. Did I mention the crew. Hey, [names removed by Sirelo] and the others...OMG! Thank you for that additional walk with the unloading. But, folks, here's the clincher! With the loading and unloading, with [Name removed by Sirelo] and [Name removed by Sirelo] moving me at both......never was there a negative comment! They arrived on time.. working straight through, until completed. The unloading, the same. Timely arrival and straight working, hour after hour. Not a single complaint from them.
From me to you- thank you all. A special thanks to you, Alex and Max! I wish you well and all the best!

Recommendation

I never usually write reviews, as I'm always busy and never too impressed. But Centennial Moving did such a good job that I believe I have to recommend them to those looking for a good company in Canada that does cross-country moves. Eric was always responsive and the movers did everything thoroughly. The move involved packing in Edmonton and delivery was in Toronto (within two weeks, right on time). Thanks for the great work.

Recommendation

We had a great crew who made the long-distance moving process so smooth. The guys were professional, courteous and experienced. They were able to guide us with recommendations on where to place furniture which was so helpful during a tiring period for us with young kids. Would absolutely use this company again. Thanks, Centennial!

Recommendation

Really dependable and competent movers. Any time I’ve ever dealt with any other moving company I’ve found myself stressed over broken furniture and unreliable dates/times. They really know the game and how to treat a customer. Fair prices and awesome movers. If I move again (god forbid), I will definitely use Centennial Moving!

Recommendation

The Centennial Moving has done an excellent job moving our furniture and effects through storage and then into our new apartment. There were a lot of delicate antiques which required great care, throughout they did an excellent job and we would use them again if we make another move. I highly recommend Centennial to anyone worried that their things might be damaged. 5 STARS

Lovely team, on the ground and on the phone, and thank you for getting our stuff back to us as fast as possible! Would definitely recommended or use this company again. They were on time to pick up and to deliver. Excellent no nonsense service.

Recommendation

Fantastic experience with Centennial Moving! The pandemic messed up our opportunity to visit family and pick up some family heirlooms we had missed for ages. So we decided to hire Centennial to take care of it. I was informed fully to clearly know what the estimated cost was and how the final invoice would be calculated. I was not subject to any major rate hikes. I did contact other companies but they were worked out to be one of the cheapest and I have to say the people on the end of the phone were great, but the two movers were tops!! They boxed up all the fragiles as well as moving the big furniture. They packed up in Edmonton and unpacked in Toronto. The most important part - nothing was scratched or broken. Everything was perfect. I'd use them again and recommend them to anyone

Recommendation

I was so very satisfied with everybody that I spoke with throughout the whole process. They didn’t beat around the bush and they knew what they were doing. I felt comfortable that they were very knowledgeable. They knew how everything was going to go, and everything that they explained to me was exactly the way it happened.

Be aware that the Google rating you see here does not reflect the truth about Centennial’s relationship with their customers since they pay the customers who did not receive good service for their silence; they offered us a measly $50 to not write a review while they broke hundreds of dollars worth of stuff they refused to pay for (we have a photo from our email for proof). On moving day, the movers knocked out a sprinkler in our condo building, which made for an extremely stressful move the building manager, the Toronto fire department, our landlord and ourselves as the elevators in the building, which houses around 500 people, ceased to work for hours. We had to pay for an emergency visit from the contractor out of our pocket to restore the building. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-1st-There is a lack of transparency-The system of weighing items is based on imperfect information, as there is no means for me as the customer to verify the actual weight of my items. This piece is so critical because regardless of the estimate that they originally provide, the true weight is only decided on information that Centennial has for which you will never have access to. They send you the scale receipt (if requested) but its just a number rather than the true agreed amount. The weight is critical to the process because it is used as the basis to charge you for the entire move So despite what you have been given as an original estimate, in the end Centennial decides and we all know that it will never be less than what they quoted, it will always be more and this unfortunately is how they make their money off of the backs of unsuspecting customers. My items were not nearly the weight of that they claimed it to be. I suspected something like this would ha.. Read more

Not only were they all very professional but they helped out with more then we had expected.. From the 1st call to the days of my parents relocation we were extremely happy with them. I would and I have referred them out. If ever again we are in need of movers they will be the place we call. Thank you [name removed by Sirelo] and your crews for making this transition easy for my parents and all of us.

Good morning. This note comes to thank Centennial for taking furniture and many boxes/bundles from Saguenay QC to our son’s house in Toronto ON. [names removed by Sirelo] were superb in careful loading, all in good and positive spirit! As my husband and I saw them off in Quebec, we felt so fortunate to have our bittersweet ending of many years on the river close with so much professional expertise and concern for people. Our son was on the receiving end and said that [names removed by Sirelo] had a long day but were such terrific men with whom to be working!

I have moved several times across Canada and the United States to Canada. The pickup was as promised. The 5 days notice before delivery was not. After calling and asking for the delivery date I was told I would know by the end of the week. That did not happen. A family member passed away so I went to the United States for the funeral. The following Friday I received an email stating it would be delivered the next day. I could not make it back it that time there was no 5-day notice and I was charged an extra $550 for storage and unloading. After negotiating to get the unloading charges reversed I was still charged the storage fee. To make matters worse on the delivery 5 boxes were missing and 1 box destroyed due to water damage that was from sitting in a pool of water in the truck. There were 2 mattresses that were in the delivery that were not mine as well and I did not accept them. The matter in which this delivery is the worse I have seen in several moves. They had promised me a 5-days window weeks before. They had the nerve to call the last day saying they wouldn't be able to move me at all. I am now stuck in a condo that is no longer mine with a pile of furniture. They have no contingency plan, no service, no shame. Do not do business with them.
