What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?
Our premium transit insurance offers the best protection throughout the world. It covers your shipment from origin to destination and includes breakage, damages, missing items, pairs and set, mechanical derangement and up to 180 days while in storage at origin / destination.
What is the best advice you would give to customers?
Using a professional mover for the best moving experience. At AMJ our focus is customer care and we do this by providing quality service and setting realistic expectations. Our door to door services includes: export wrap, pack and load, export and import clearance, and full delivery services: unload, unwrap, reassembly and removal of the packing materials. Worst move of my life..quote was 17% higher than original estimate. Truck showed up late and with only 2 movers, of which one left half way through. I paid for packing and loading and was asked to help, because they didn’t have the manpower. All mislabeled and items found in wrong boxes. No communication at all and demanded payment over and above quote, without advising me. Treated very disrespectfully by senior management re customer issues. Do not recommend at all and be suspect of any quotes you receive!

International shipping of household stuff from Ontario, Canada to Europe. 2 months after giving our stuff to them, and after paying for the full price plus insurance, we hear no news on whether the stuff is loaded, let alone shipped. We have come to the reality that we may never recieve our stuff, nor the insurance compensation as they can simply say it is indefinitely delayed but not lost. Stupid me. What should they still deliver now that we've paid the full price? They can simply dump our household belongings (and 10 years of memory) into the ocean with absolutely no penalty other than what minimal reduction in reputation due to my online reviews.
Sad story but true. Be ware and steer dead clear of this company!

In Home walk thru before providing an estimate. Professional staff, arrived promptly for loading. Laid down floor coverings. Quickly and expertly disassembled furniture. Wrapped my belongings carefully. Delivered on time. Final price $400.00 less than quoted.
