    What makes your company stand out?

    We are not a volume-driven call-center operation — every international relocation is handled by an experienced move coordinator who remains the client’s single point of contact from origin to destination. We take the time to understand each client’s timeline, budget, and service expectations. For our clients, this translates into peace of mind, predictable costs, and a smoother relocation.

    What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?

    We offer comprehensive Marine Transit Insurance providing “All Risk” coverage against physical loss or damage from any external cause. Coverage applies from the time your goods enter our custody, throughout international transit by sea, air, or land, until delivery and unpacking at destination, including up to 60 days of storage if required. In the event of damage or loss, clients must file written notice within 30 days. Claims are reviewed by the insurer, who may repair, replace, or reimburse.

    What is the best advice you would give to customers?

    International shipping involves customs clearance, port handling, and carrier scheduling. Building buffer time into your move plan reduces stress and unexpected costs.

    John Gray Moving helped my mother with a long-distance move and packing, and made the whole experience as seamless and stress free as possible. They handled everything with care and were patient and professional during a complex move. We felt we were in very good hands at all times. They arrived on time, pricing was very fair and any changes were discussed and itemized. A big Thank You to Chris and the team, highly recommend them!

    From the moment I reached out and inquired till the end of the move there is not enough thank you I can give. Jeremy was our main contact from the very beginning was professional and responsive to our questions. He met with my daughter to give us a quote and was through with not only what we need but cost and time.
    The moving crew led by Roger was absolutely amazing. Not only was the stress of moving eliminated but their professionalism and friendly manner was so welcome. The detail to itemizing what was being packed to how careful they were with not only packing the truck to unpacking was amazing. Though we weren’t a large move … student moving from Ottawa to Georgetown, they handled it like it was. Roger and Lester unloaded in the end and again were amazing. I would without hesitation use them again and highly recommend. So happy with our move. Thank you

    Many thanks to Erkan (and team) for expertly and safely transporting our household goods from California to Nova Scotia!

    From the moment we engaged with Erkan, transport communication was very clear, consistent, and professional. All our household goods were delivered on time and in great shape.

    I have to add that members of our community were amazed at Erkan's ability to expertly and precisely handle the 18-wheeler at the local self-storage facility that offered limited space for maneuvering. (In fact, a couple of bystanders took photos and words of admiration spread in our local area).

    The unloading process went exceptionally well. Everything was placed with care and consideration, especially a large crated piano. Erkan is an experienced driver/mover and his expertise shines through with the optimal placement of our boxes, furniture, etc.

    We are extremely happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend Erkan (John Gray Moving & Storage) to anyone considering an international move of household goods.

    I could write a novel about how impressed I was with Olympo and his team. To start, they were 30 minutes early and cleared ice that I was unable to, so they could safely traverse the walk. My apartment is second story, up a steep street access staircase, with a small front deck that has to be crossed to enter the space. The two men who moved my furniture traversed the space with complete ease. They managed to unload 7 pallets in 2 hours! That is insane! Every single one of my belongings was still in perfect condition by the end. They were patient as I identified the wrapped furniture, and were remarkably kind to boot! I would 100% use them for a move in the future. I am so delighted to have met each of them, and so grateful for the caliber of their work.

    The team at John Gray was outstanding to work with for an international move. During the evaluation phase their communication was clear and accurate. They displayed competence around pricing, assumptions and expectations. This helped reduce the tension in the decision process. Once we selected them, their communication remained strong and the team that came on premise to pack and load were great. They were professional, quality conscious and efficient.
