I moved from Newfoundland to Ontario in August, 2020. I booked the mover through Pat Walsh at TLC Movers, who I thought was the moving company. He was great until he got his downpayment money. I didn’t know there was another moving company until my belongings arrived in Ontario and I got a bill from Collins-Mehling Transfer Ltd., which was almost $2000 over the quote [Name removed by Sirelo] gave me, even though I moved less stuff that I originally told [Name removed by Sirelo]. The mover arrived on time, but when I went through everything there was a LOT of stuff missing, damaged, and completely broken. I contacted [Name removed by Sirelo] (nicely) about it. He was very rude and basically told me too bad. I contacted Collins-Mehling Transfer Ltd who didn’t even respond. I will definitely be recommending to people to NOT use either of these companies.
