Many items were just placed into boxes and got damaged, very expensive pure silk carpets thrown on the basement floor and some on top of suitcases. Furniture dumped in the basement storage area. Christmas ornaments, dishes, a very expensive glass pitcher I inherited from my Grand mother with inscription were broken and shattered. Shelves were left on the floor, items clearly marked 'kitchen or dining ' were left in the basement on top of other boxes. The packer didn't pack dishes and other items properly. A very large shelve unit from the other basement was left in pieces in the garage. The vacuum cleaner, boxes with clothing and other items left in the garage. This was the worst move I've ever experienced. They talked big and promised me the 'best move' However , they were the worst
. I received a refund because they finished unloadig in less than 6 hours. I would have prefered a smooth move instead of a refund . It took me weeks to take dishes and other items back upstairs , the boxes were too heavy for me to handle . I would never recommend AMJ to my worst enemy .Lire la suite

Despite some problems you can always meet with such a long haul, AMJ and everybody in the company stood with us to resolve them with empathy, intelligence, without trying to hide. They responded to our fears, they communicated at all stages with us and made our moving a nice trip from beginning to the end. We were not in a hurry to open boxes at destination and had ample time to do it and sign all documents.

Seamless...very professional. demonstrated care packing and cataloguing all items in preparation for international container shipping.

Right from first contact very helpful and reassuring. Very professional, friendly got the job done in a timely manner.

Worst move of my life..quote was 17% higher than original estimate. Truck showed up late and with only 2 movers, of which one left half way through. I paid for packing and loading and was asked to help, because they didn’t have the manpower. All mislabeled and items found in wrong boxes. No communication at all and demanded payment over and above quote, without advising me. Treated very disrespectfully by senior management re customer issues. Do not recommend at all and be suspect of any quotes you receive!
