I had a very good experience with this company.The price was very competitive and [name removed by Sirelo] anticipated every move so that it would go smoothly and it did.
I have moved many time back and forth from Europe and North America and that was the best experience so far: efficiency, clarity and willingness to help until the very end .I liked the fact that I could choose the services I wanted , it was all broken down so I could see exactly what cost what and could choose to bring it myself to the warehouse and pick it up at arrival which made it cheaper.I really appreciated [name removed by Sirelo] kindness and real concern for everything to go as planned and as effortlessly as possible .Thank you[name removed by Sirelo] !!!I highly recommend this firm!

[name removed by Sirelo] was quick in replying to the quote and came back with a competitive rate and fast shipping timeframe. He was able to adjust the fee and tailor to my specific needs. I needed reduced cost of shipping as my shipment didn't require any packing or door to door service for pickup and delivery. There was a surcharge after palletising the contents of my shipment as it couldn't be stacked as efficiently on the skids (1x1m) as was possible in storage (1x2m). I anticipated this would be the case, as [name removed by Sirelo] was transparent about this from the beginning. As long as you take this into consideration with your projected cost, this is not a major issue (at least not for me).
[name removed by Sirelo] guided me through the process well, explaining which paperwork to provide and updating me on next steps and the overall process. Also getting in touch with the handler on the receiving side, my experience was smooth and relatively effortless. The moving company miscalculated the volume (later I calculated it was actually impossible to fit the stated measurements into what he calculated). 3 days after palletising my stuff at the shipper, I was told by the moving company that there would be an additional charge of 50% more (of the probably quoted and paid cost), only hours before leaving the country myself. The moving company would not accept blame for their miscalculation, so I was forced to either pay the additional charge or lose my possessions and initial payment.

From the beginning, our contact, [name removed by Sirelo], was always ready to answer questions (would always reply within 24h) and was very knowledgeable regarding the whole moving process. There was a slight hiccup when our items arrived--we weren't informed by the German company that our items had arrived and were subsequently charged storage fees while our items were being processed through customs--but Ethic movers ([name removed by Sirelo) were quick to help us deal with the situation and were very reliable during a very stressful time. As a result, we didn't end up having to pay the storage fees. I would definitely hire them again.

I didn't have much time to compare moving companies, so I just went with Ethic Move because they were the first to answer. I shipped some boxes with personal belongings from Vancouver, Canada to Valladolid, Spain. I was a bit disappointed at first because I was quoted for 1 cubic meter (I was sending 7 boxes of 50x50x47cm) so it was almost the cubic meter. But they didn't take the pallet into consideration so I ended paying an extra fee. Then, the shipment was supposed to arrive in Bilbao (north of Spain) on November 21st. It arrive yesterday December 19th. So it took 2 months and 3 days to arrive. But I guess that's the freight companies fault. Even with this small issues I'm happy with the service. It was about 40% of what other companies quoted and I wasn't in a hurry to get my things. Everything arrived (hopefully in good conditions, I haven't opened the boxes yet) and they answer all your emails within 24 hours and guide you through the customs process and all that stuff.
My only recommendation to them is: give your customers alternatives. My boxes went from Montreal to Valencia by ship, then from Valencia to Barcelona in another ship and finally by truck from Barcelona to Bilbao. If I had known this before I'd have chosen Valencia as the final destination as I have family there that could have taken care of some things.Read more

Whilst they were helpful and advised me of potential additional costs, I ended up with an extra $55 charge at the shipping end. The cost was due to my shipment being over 1 cubic meter. The fact is, my four boxes were only 18 cubic ft. But including the pallet and the fact that they put the boxes on the pallet standing up, instead of using the full size of the pallet and laying them on their side is why they calculated my shipment being over 1 cubic meter. If they put the boxes on their sides, it would have been under. This really annoyed me as it was expensive enough to ship the 4 boxes in the first place.

they count only the volume not weight. The price is reasonable. The case agent is very patient and helpful.

Shipment not expected till next month so hard to comment just yet.

They were very helpful with moving and didn't charge a high price. One nice thing would be if they offered an option for pickup service.
