If I could give Huli Shippers a negative rating, I would. In August 2025, I hired them to move my belongings from Vancouver to the US. Communication from the beginning was very poor. They farm out their work to unprofessional local movers (2 guys with a truck) to come and pack your things up. Then, they put your boxes and furniture on a pallet that is not even sealed on top - just sloppily wrapped in black shrink wrap and plopped on a pallet. Along the way to the final destination, your belongings will be pawned off to many different shippers, trucks, etc. Then, the pallet will arrive in a warehouse close to the final destination. In my case, the warehouse they used, lost my shipment. It was sent to another state, no tracking, nothing. They couldn't find it and couldn't trace it because nobody put it on the manifest. Although, there was a label with my name, contact information and address attached to the shrink wrap, nobody could find my pallet and they had no idea which truck it had
been loaded onto and no idea where it could have possibly gone. After searching for it, for about a month, they finally found it and it was returned to the warehouse. When it finally arrived at my storage facility, all of my boxes had been opened, all of the boxes were damaged, my belongings had been pawed through and there was a lot of damage to most of my belongings.
Now, I am in negotiation with Huli to reimburse me for the damaged items and they are being very difficult, saying that the insurance won't cover the damages, etc. They are so unprofessional and so sneaky, that even with photo proof of damage and knowing what happened and how my belongings were treated and the state in which they arrived, they are refusing to reimburse me what I'm owed.
