Very bad experience dealing with booking agent [Name removed by Sirelo]. and the team of [Names removed by Sirelo]. I paid in Canada additional 2,000.00 through the World Cargo for to the Turkish forwarders to deliver my goods to the destination city from the Port in Mersin, they did not. I had no choice but to hire another container for the final delivery. I called many times to World Cargo for the help but all of them forwarded me to speak with my booking agent Mr. [Name removed by Sirelo]
His respond was a message “driving now” or “can not talk” and then his message box was full, no more messages accepted. All my emails to his team were also ignored. They also did not reply to my emails begging to pay for my shipment to the Turkish Hapag Lloyd and to provide me with seaway bill, so I could start the process of the custom clearance. It took me more than a week in to stay in a hotel near the port awaiting for the payment confirmation from World Cargo, before starting a process of custom clearance. I asked World Cargo to refund my additional payment for the local delivery, it was no reply. After I made a delivery by myself, Mr. [Name removed by Sirelo]replied to my email promising to get back to me. I never heard from him since. DEAL WITH WORLD CARGO AT YOUR OWN RISK.!!!Lire la suite

Great service to start. Said best to prepay customs and handling. $1143. Was charged €773 again in Spain the intermediary confirm world cargo was refunded. Now world cargo is ignoring every email request to reimburse me. They get the job done but DO NOT prepay anything else. Also expect your shipment to be late. And mine was held up in customs because they would not accept my proof of prepayment. Shocking coming from a Canadian Company

This is yet the worst company I have dealt with.
[name removed by Sirelo], owner and manager made several promises he could not back up in the end. He acted as if he was offering the best, most affordable and reliable service only to completely disappear when things did not turn out the way they promised.
I dropped off my truck at his premises on December 22nd. Secured a spot and paid all the shipping fees right on the spot. The agents dealing with my case had no clue where the documentation was and forgot to get paperwork for insurance. The place was messy, dirty and the employees seemes clueless as to what they were doing, A month later, they sent an email indicating i had not paid insurance, hence the shipment was delayed.
Weeks after, they indicated the shipment would arrive 3 months later, contrary to what I had agreed with [name removed by Sirelo], who after all these issues, completely abandoned the situation.
it is March 30th, and Worldcargo still does not respond to my emails regarding my shipment. I had to contact Hapag Lloyd myself to get information on arrival dates, only to find out the container is delayed by another month.

Stay away from this company and his crook owner. They offer a terrible service, are unreliable and cannot be trusted to look after your shipment.

My experience with World Cargo has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I would highly recommend NOT using them to move your goods.

In a nutshell: Quoted $2350 USD to move a 20' container from Vancouver to Adelaide. Ended up costing around $10,000 CAD and losing several items including a dining table that belonged to my Grandmother.

Outside the nutshell:

1. World Cargo increased quoted shipping cost by 30% and only told me when I arrived to drop my goods off. As I was leaving the country in a couple days I had no choice but to continue. I asked to speak to [name removed by Sirelo] the manager/owner and he was 'in a meeting'. I came to find out that [name removed by Sirelo] is always 'in a meeting'.

2. World Cargo was incredibly negligent in not informing me that my cargo needed fumigation until after I had dropped my goods off and returned home. This fumigation ended up costing an extra $6000 and delayed the container by several weeks. Matt Bryson[name removed by Sirelo] also told me, on a phone call, that I would be 'very unlucky' to have my container examined at arrival. Turns out that all containers are examined in Australia and I had to have many items quarantined and cleaned at much cost and delay. Had I been informed of this I would have cleaned things myself. My freight forwarding company here in Australia told me that it costs around $400 to fumigate a container. I have had 2 freight forwarding companies in Australia tell me that I have been 'extremely overcharged' for fumigation.

3. Items lost include: Dining table (family heirloom), antique game board, 2 boxes of personal items. They have not responded to my requests for an insurance claim despite the fact that I paid them for insurance.

4. They were friendly and helpful right up to the point that I arrived to drop off my goods. From then on it has been countless emails and phone calls with little to no results. I have been unable to get [name removed by Sirelo] to return a call or get on the phone despite numerous requests.

5. I was able to speak to [name removed by Sirelo] a couple times prior to dropping my goods off. However, once things went bad it was impossible to speak to him. One day I called about 40 times during business hours and they refused to pick up the phone. I called with an app that changes my number and they picked up right away. When I asked to speak to [name removed by Sirelo] I was given the run around several times and was never able to speak to him.

6. The front of the web page states 'Avoid Delays and Extra Costs'. False advertising.

7. World Cargo appeared somewhat disorganized when I was dropping my good off. I was concerned about how cluttered the warehouse was and how they were going to keep my goods organized to make sure that nothing was missed. Obviously my concerns were well founded. None of my good were labelled when they arrived in Australia. It's not surprising that several items were lost if nothing is labelled or stored neatly.

8. I found the process of finding a shipping company very daunting. I chose World Cargo because they were friendly and helpful in the beginning. However, they have been incredibly terrible once things went bad and I was unable to follow up personally as I had left the country a couple days after dropping off my goods. Once they have possession of your good they can pretty much do what they want and charge what they want and you have to pay or your container doesn't move and accrues storage charges. Please make sure you do your research and find a reputable company. Ask a lot of questions and make sure you are aware of the entire process.

this company request my documents, l give everything requested, hapag Lloyd requested a bussines number to draft a BL on personal ''effects baggage'',and under their orientation, l find a company bussines number on destination, for guarantor,but this stupidy company put it under consignee, ON A FREAK '' PERSONAL EFFECTS BAGGAGE'' as result l need change my BL in Port destination, l need to pay to do that , it took over 18 extras days,and because your Wrong doing and lack of knowledge, l'm have been charged by hapag Lloyd over U$2000 in demurrage,plus U$300 to change my BL,this means your employees are useless and under trained, they can even draft a BL properly,l hire this company to ship my personal effects and l though they were capable to handle docs, but l guess no, and after all mess caused by this company and Hapag Lloyd ,they don't have even the decency to advocated with hapag Lloyd to lift my demurrage,as it was a shared mistake done by bought 🤬🤬🤬 useless , unprofessional, clueless,is soft adjective for this messy company.Lire la suite
